We're back where it all began in Springfield, MO - the original home of Ozarks Style BBQ! Our Springfield location opened on April 13, 2021.

What is Ozarks Style BBQ?

At Gettin' Basted, we take the smoky flavors of traditional Ozarks BBQ and crank it up a notch with our award-winning, Hot & Fast approach. Nestled in the heart of the Ozarks, our barbecue draws from the rich tapestry of Southern cooking styles, blending Memphis’ love for ribs and pulled pork with the bold, smoky touches reminiscent of Texas pits. But here's our twist: we fire up our grills with live coal to give that meat a lick of flame and a taste you can’t find just anywhere. It's a celebration of Ozarks heritage with every bite, creating flavors that are as rich in history as they are in taste. Come on down, grab a plate, and let’s make BBQ history together!
